There Sunday but travelling in the tin top and using the public car park. The movement restrictions on the infield parking we have booked are somewhat incompatible with getting home in time to feed horses once the inevitable queue to exit is factored in.

Just back home again now, and some sneaky fish & chips as Mrs SBM is away for a while..

Lovely day over at Silverstone, and well done the Cranmog Crew meeters & greeters, who took the sting out of getting all those Morgans on plot successfully..

Tell me, why the heck have Morgan got a bus..? It's parked with no-one on it, and the door all roped off. Not even a free cuppa. Unlike the Porsche tent, who were quite happy to offer two free coffees. Thanks for the tip, KevFitz.

Great racing, absolutely LOADS of iconic and fabulous cars and a lot of petrol burnt in the name of fun..

To round it off, a lovely bimble home as the sun was going down. Even managed to pee off an Audi V8 out of the limits.

Top day..

Now, where's the salt & vinegar..?

thumbs

I should have realised that's where the bus had gone.
Suspect the chap who drives it not too happy, with a top speed somewhere around 40 mph.

Saw the bus at Goodwood too part of the Bell and Colvill stand unused coffee machine there too and we were in need of one.
I think the dealership guys were getting pretty sick of trying to keep the dust off their stock cars.

We drove past Silverstone on their practice day on Thursday and observed a number of the cars that were at Lemans lapping, were there any of the Morgan's running?

Fantastic day at Silverstone on Saturday, congrats to the mog organisers, although it took two hours from assembly to return to do a five minute parade Lap. Not their fault and worth it I guess. Very enjoyable day, hot and crowded, but lots of lovely cars to look at. The Morgan's raced in a very big 56 car grid, Richard plant was second to an extremely quick lotus elan.
I couldn't see the point of the Morgan bus, I presume it's for smoothing prospective purchasers.
I hope the guy whose keys were found on the floor next to his car which I put back in the ignition in his absence found them ok. V80 MOG I think his reg was.
