Buy some larger diameter discs from the car spares place obviously with same hole spacing and dish and get you local machine shop to turn them down. That should be a lot cheaper Always assuming that you can find the right discs and the right machine shop that doesn't have a standard half-day setup fee regardless of the number of operations to be done. Easiest is to just do the decent thing and buy a pair of discs from your local Morgan aftermarket specialist and support small business. After all £70 for a pair of discs every 20 years or so is hardly going to break the bank, is it?

I did the same some time ago + and 50% more pad contact - what a difference A while ago I had fitted the Mulfab 300mm vented discs, braided hoses and brake reaction bars (four pots caliper standard). Made a big difference,

I'll do the upgrade as soon as the coast is clear...........  On the trip to Silverstone on Sunday the brakes were good, and get better with heat, but no way would they lock the front........

Hi Dave, I also had no problem locking the fronts on the roadster I had, I wonder if your servo/calipers are working efficiently?

Well it does fine on the brake tester, The tyres were new last year and are very grippy.................

Dave, you are probably like me....try to avoid HRD braking unless absolutely necessary. My brakes are great and stop the car well. Test ok too.
However, a couple of cars pulling out caused emergency stops and locking initially. Some cadence needed.
