Our local witch doctor and Shamen both love chickens. Near our house is a Gorsedd Circle used by the Druids for ceremonies.....stones in a circle with a central “altar”. The altar appears unblemished, probably due to the lack of virgins to sacrifice.

I love the 500, fantastic car, under-appreciatedin it’s day, 50 years ahead of its time.

My mum drove a 500 - it was a 1972 left-hooker bought when my dad was posted to BAOR in Minden, I think, but she kept it until it was stolen and wrapped around a lamppost (a triumph of poor acceleration outdone by poorer brakes?) in around '76 at which point it was replaced by a RHD 126. Both were red, and were known as the LRF (Little Red Fiat)
I don't remember much about it (except that I once leaned forward from the back seat and pulled the starter lever when the car was running, which incurred a loud graunching noise and much parental wrath), beyond the fact that with both family cars being imported when we moved back to the UK, the Fiat and a Simca 1100 Estate had consecutive registrations - NPK 193L and NPK 194L.

Great comments, thank you all. I'll share some pics and words when I get a tick. I don't know if I shared this before, but I made a little film about this very car. 1972 was a very good year... Here's the link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-o--PnL7dg

I enjoyed the vid, very well done... I found a bit of synergy contained therein, in that I fancied owning a car built in the year I was born, and that I owned a suicide door Fiat 500 for quite a while, though to be honest I never drove it, I rescued it from a lock-up, thinking to get it running someday but never got round to it... Another coincidence is that while on holiday in Triora some years back, the Italian 500 club had an event in the village attracting 500`s from all over... I took quite a few pics if anyone might have interest..?

The giggle is that as Fiat have just released another new new new 500 in leccy only form they have renamed the existing petrol one the 500 Classic apparently? So is that 500 new classic?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

My cousin married a 6ft 4 in fireman and they had a Siberian mountain dog. Their car a 60s Fiat 500. They filled it.
