A bit late for this now but while the roof can be a pain to put up, it really is worth doing when the weather is so changeable. A good half-way house are the quick covers that provide protection from prying eyes as well as giving protection from the elements (as long as it isn't torrential).

Now, get that hair dryer out! wink

OK, who nicked my post?
I had first answer there with a recommendation to pull the tonneau across whenever leaving the car...
Cheers,

John Taylor Storm covers are probably the best for short term protection. If we are away I use one overnight on RTA hood up or tonneau on - they really are good. Cover the cockpit and enough of the louvred bonnet area to keep things dry.

If the car was to be out for a few days without moving I also have a full tyvek cover from John Worrall (Heart of England).

Cheers,

I have a john Taylor Storm cover which I used when my P&J was outside on the drive for 8 weeks in the autumn whilst we had the builders in.

It did a great job of keeping it all dry.

the John taylor storm cover is excellent. I also bought his swivel levers which make hood erection a so much easier. Very handy when you don't want hassle putting up the hood.
