I never realised Dartmouth was as attractive as that, mind you I have never realised an awful lot of things. Very nice.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Dartmouth is a lovely place but not in July and August.
Best time there is winter, which is when we usually go.
Not known for walking and yet the town is surrounded by some amazing walking/rambling routes.

We are fortunate enough to live 2 miles along the coast near Blackpool Sands and our favourite time of year by far is Spring time. We always walk into Dartmouth on the coastal path then as the wild flowers are at their peak and this year we had primroses, cowslips, bluebells, daffodils and wild orchid all out at the same time on Gallants Bower a fantastic site to behold and quiet on the visitor front. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/little-dartmouth/features/gallants-bowerI have to say it is lovely to share the delights of the area with the visitors even though the roads are busier, the pleasure on their faces combined with the revenue they bring enables us to enjoy the year round facilities that we might not otherwise have . p.s. I have never worked in the tourist industry but have lived here and seen the vast changes over that 40 years. This is a really good local event to attend before the season really kicks off if you like your music, we haven't missed a year. https://www.dartmusicfestival.co.uk/

Brings back many happy memories of when I was at Britannia Royal Naval College. We Officers Under Training in 1972 didn’t get into town for the first six weeks. Hah, nostalgia is a thing of the past! Incidentally, the cafe on the left of picture 3 used to be one of only two railway stations that never had a train pass through the other was Hull Pier! Lovely piccies.
