As you well informed TM ers will be aware MMC produced a limited run of 60 +4 Supersports models in the period 2011-2012 to celebrate Morgan's 1962 win in the 24 hour Le Mans race.


All cars had a numbered special edition dashboard plaque and an engraved horn push with a number 1-60.


6 colour choices were offered :

Sports red (R).Almond Green (AG),English White (W),


Iris Blue (IB),RAF Blue (RB),Primrose Yellow (Y)


I am the current owner of number 47 in Almond Green.


I have started to list all cars I have seen or am aware of with series number and colour or where there are gaps registration numbers.


I list the prototype in Iris Blue which has no series number and therefore is not included as one of the sixty.

Ideal opportunity to launch a "Plus 4 Supersport Register" - as we did when 60 Centenary Roadster 100 cars were produced in Amazon Green to mark the MMC Centenary in 2009.

Your special cars like ours will be widely geographically spread - no problem with modern communications - and we all contribute to making ALL MORGANS' DAY at Blenheim Palace on July 1st - a tremendous event with 650 MOG's (including the Plus 4 Supersport) in attendance this year.

Thanks..I was ay Blenheim this year but not in my Morgan having just come across in my campervan...there were only 3 Supersports attending in 650+ cars !!!


One series number 45 Red belonged to the Welsh Dealer from new.


Thanks Tommog...many Supersports went into Europe..I may email European dealers in time.

56 was converted by Williams to lhd, was located in Luxembourg and is now in the south of germany.
They really are fantastic Cars!

Can I suggest that the reg numbers should not be displayed on a public forum.

Why? It is not the VIN just the number of a selected series. And just to match it with her colour.

Sorry I now understand that you were talking about the plate number, not the VIN.

The Prototype is well known in Morgan circles


No 1 belongs to James Gilbert Morgan PR and was his father Richards car


The registration numbers for any car may change many times over the years.

I list the last known reg in 2 cases to see if any body can match the colour to a series number.
