Does anyone know the tyre pressures on a 2010 +4? In the handbook it says 22psi but the previous owner has written 32psi.

Did the previous owner have any teeth left? 32psi would make for a very harsh ride.

Has your car got standard size tyres?
If not the hand book pressures are not really valid, if in fact they ever were,as the 22 seems to be generic.
Lots of interesting threads on this site regarding optimum pressures, but in reality try anything from 18 to 28? and find your best compromise between ride and grip/feel.
I went up a tyre size on my 4/4 and lowered the pressures a couple of pounds which suited me.

I ran my 97 +4 at 23 psi but 22 should be fine. The tyres act as part of the suspension on a Mog so need to be soft.

If I’m tootling around on my own in the car I’ll go 20 all round

If I’m on motorways or have passengers 22 psi

Any more and I’d be in danger of spinal damage!!

I lived on a hilly road with 14 speed humps when I had the +4. We lived in the middle, the extra 1 psi helped ground clearance on the 4/4, +4 and the Roadster.

Now I live on the flat 22 psi is fine.

Just checked my Plus8 pressures ready for RTTH weekend. Set at 22 with Yokohama C-Drive tyres (60 profile). I have settled on 22 after varying to try out . Lowest I went was 19 and highest 23.

The handbook says 22psi for both my cars but Techniques recommends 24psi for both.
