Welcome Rob, I’m in Blewbury so not too far from you Have they fixed those potholes around Blewbury yet! I was astonished recently at just how bad the roads surfaces are in Oxfordshire, particularly the B4009. I used to enjoy taking my Morgan for a run around that area when I used to live in Newbury. Where do all our motoring taxes go? Don’t bother answering that, ‘cause I know! Meanwhile welcome to this forum Rob. If you fancy a nice day out come down to the Hive Beach cafe in Burton Bradstock for lunch. We have some great roads in this area, including one of the most picturesque coastal runs in the country, and, very few potholes! Happy Days!

could be popping in next week, but unlikely in the Morgan, maybe the Jag instead. ...

Many thanks one and all, home and abroad, for your warm welcome to Talk Morgan.
The thread re roads around Blewbury resonated as we used the A417 en route to Prescott last Sunday. I thought that Blewbury was bad - until we got to Wantage. I thought that Wantage was worse - until we got to Faringdon where the holes on the way in were perfectly matched by the speed bumps on the way out!
Looking forward to trying the recommended Dorset roads now.
