I really don’t think there will be a problem with demand. I’ve said it before but the youngsters around here love the Morgan. It get’s the thumbs up - well sick!

And there will still be those who don’t give a damn about rattles and squeaks and who just love the looks and the simplicity of driving. Cost is important but there are lots of people out there with money. All of this makes me suspect that the branding project may well be the most important thing for the medium term.

If the Ford three cylinder is used though will that make it a Morgan 3/4?

The original 4/4 was 4 wheels, 4 cylinders IIRC.

4/3. Could't remember which way round it was and couldn't be bothered looking it up!. Although in the Brave New World naming conventions could always change.

The Morgan Three Quarter.

"4/3" looks odd. The Ecoboost model could instead be given Latin numerals: IV/III.

It would then be fun explaining to people that it is not pronounced "Eye Vee One Eleven".

Well the Americans have a breed of horse that is called a Three Quarter so anything is possible, maybe a mini Morgan with the Ford 3 pot and a couple of PP3's thrown in..

A 3/4 Horse has great power for acceleration but not a long fast runner. That is why a 3/4 Horse is great for rounding up cattle.

I would keep it simple "Morgan 3/4" I think it would be a great Morgan.
