When ever I drive hard the hand break light on the dashboard flickers any ideas?

Check the fluid level in the master cylinder. I think the handbrake light doubles as a low fluid level and hard cornering will make it flicker if the level is a bit down.

That happened to my car, upon investigation I found that the pressure switch underneath the car had a loose wire, almost off and would cause it to flicker.

Whilst talking about the dashboard lights, I did the following modification.

The blinkers worked a blue light on dash and with the hood down most of the time, I had no indication of when the blinker was left inadvertently left on. Could not see the light at all...
I removed the blue light and the orange light (handbrake warning ) and switched them around.
The result is that I can now clearly see the flashing orange light and I will try to find another colour to replace the blue warning, maybe a clear one.
