 This old man from down in South Devon Found greasing his nipples was heaven, 'Till his wife said: "Love! Just look at the drive" I might slip up down there and nose dive. And that great lump of black grease, Has spoilt your blue jeans up the crease.

So I found the solution: having the nipple and the nozzle perfectly aligned solved the problem. It was neither the pressure nor was the reservoir full; just the angle. A hint from my dealer directed my attention

I've forgotten how you tell when there's enough grease in the top point. Anyone? When you start slippin’ and slidin’ on your garage floor  It’s a good point as it’s difficult to see, I just do a couple of squirts each time I grease and hope it’s OK I think the thing to remember is that if you do it every 300-500 miles, I don’t think you can go too far wrong I just make sure if excess is coming out that it’s not going to get on the brakes so I just use a bit of rag or card to wipe off I pumped a lot of grease in yesterday. i imagined it would appear on the kingpin behind the spring. I expect it's down my trouser leg instead, I'll have a look. There is a theory from a very experienced long time Mog owner and friend that a oil instead of grease is better going in from the top as it runs down but I don’t know exactly how or what he uses This current Mog is the first time I’ve had a nipple on the top A Nipple on the top is better than a spot on the bottom
