For those going to Lille on the return journey (Legend Motors) you’ll require a Crit'Air vignettes… As of January this year, the stickers are in use in various French cities including LILLE, and the initiative includes bikes (& three wheelers) (although Lille “only” has an emergency scheme, meaning they can impose restrictions on vehicles without notice if pollution is expected to reach a particular level). In short, imho, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Especially as the cost (<€5) is so much lower than the potential fine (€68-€135). https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/motoring-news/law-change-for-uk-drivers-in-french-cities/https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/enIt’s obviously up to the individual, but fines are hefty if restrictions imposed & you’re stopped without one.

I have started to pack! :-D And for the first time, I am bringing with me an umbrella. NOT for (against?) the rain! More for (against?) the sun buring down! ;-) Have a nice day and see you soon!

I am picking up some spares (including a fuel pump, of course!) from RTCC on Friday and then dropping in on Ricardo on the way back so that he can (hopefully!) show me how to download your routes, Chris, onto my TomTom. Libby and I are really looking forward to it. Now I have my factory Stage 1 kit fitted, must remember to buy some earplugs as well.....
