Check out his link to the RAC website.

Seems like a tax grab in the guise of clean air certification to me.

It's French BS - but if you're challenged you'll need one displayed or pay the fine!

What information are you giving for the Certificate Air application? Checked my V5 and there is nothing for CO2 (g/km) entry they require and the taxation class drop down menu for the online application doesn't have "Tricycle" on it. Just wondering as our own authorities cannot even come up with a proper taxation class for the M3W. Have a good trip, wish I was going again this year.

I think I put mine down as a motorcycle but can’t recall for sure!
My V5 did have a CO2 figure, I think, but, if I remember rightly, it was something like 0.038 but the online form only permitted me to enter 38!

I just did mine one the Berlin.de site, 6 Euros and they wanted a copy of the reg document. Be interesting to see what stye come back with. If they put it down as Euro 3 (which is what it is) then I get an amber sticker and cant go in most of the big cities anyway! Anyone get a green (Euro4) with a none Euro 4 car. What site did you use? Cheers

Well a BIG thanks to Laurens & Rineke for yet another year of fun filled driving, lunches and dinners around Switzerland. The weather was better than last year (just) and as always the camaraderie and support from the participants was fantastic! I'm sure those more technically efficient with the photo loading will be filling the screens with fabulous photos. A couple of casualties that needed to be trailered away - an oil seal and a clutch (mine), but drivers and passengers were offered seats elsewhere to continue the adventure. Comet has already started a new thread for 2019 and I for one will be back for another year of thrills and spills! Thanks again Laurens & Rineke - your efforts and planning are truly appreciated.
