Occasionally even in fine weather a couple of the dials mist but then eventually clear. Anyone any idea why or what I can do ?

Best advice - live with it.
In cold winter weather my four small dials mist up completely, and I've seen traces of mist on the big ones, but most of the time it's not a problem.

Pablo, even my brand new car misted up badly on all cold days and some mild ones. As everyone has said it is standard on Morgan instruments. Some previous posts recommended various ways of removing the moisture, I just live with mine.

Mine mist up too and even have traces of genuine rust forming on the edges of the dials, yep its all GENUINE  .
If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?

Usually the mist goes as the dials heat up from the internal bulbs. Even cars that are always garaged and have never been wet do it.

Hi All, That is true, this is generally the temperature difference between inside the gauges and outside. When this arrives, I switch the dashboard light off to balance the temperature and after 10 to 15mn the mist disappears and you can switch back dashboard light on. BR. Daniel.
