I know its rather unpossible to find one, but I want to try everything:

I'm looking for a rim for my DHC 1950 (June 1950) Series 1. I got five, one on a spare tire is missing unfortunately.
The rim don't have wholes.

Any ideas welcome (even to rebuild one with some other parts)

Are they 15 or 16 inches? If they are 15 inches the technical advisor of the MSCC should be able to lead you to a source. 16 inches seem to be very scarce. I know of a guy who has 16 inches at the rear and 15 inches at the front for that reason.

....and always keep am eye on Miscellany. I seem to remember that some such rims were for sale one or two years ago.

Not much help, but good luck anyway.

Dear Frank,
thanks for your reply.
Of course (always worst case banghead, murphys law...) they are 16 inches.
I could not believe they were built for morgan only so maybe someone knows on which cars they were even mounted at that time. sos

As I have 5 of them, not in a real good condition, maybe I could mount one 15" on a spare tyre. Hopefully I don't need these to change. Roads are much better now then 1950 drive
I found a company in germany probably able to repair these old steel rims. I'll try that out during this wintertime.

Wolfgang,

If you are prepared to come to Switzerland (near Zurich) to get one (or two) original 16 inches Morgan DHC wheel(s), please contact me off forum (friedli.timber@bluewin.ch) - in German language if you like.
