Would like to install CL but no idea how the factory accomplishes it, would appreciate everyone's feedback and photos. Thanks.

Had them installed from new in my 2013 +4.

They are LED lights and I don't find them either very bright or useful.

Had a map light installed at same time and this is far brighter and more useful.

The Roadster has three under dash LED lights. A 10 amp fused feed which also supplies clock and radio, runs direct to them with switching via parallel wired door switches in the earth return. The switching feeds into the BCU to provide delay after doors are closed before they extinguish.

The four seater has a further two rear lights with switching wired direct so no delay.

The Plus 8 has LED lights under the dash, they are virtually useless!

My 1980 +8 doesn't have any interior lights. And the gauges are darker than a glow worm!

And a few others

I have a brilliant one on my 4/4 sport - a small push button torch on my keyring.

I agree, the lights are not really bright enough and on my Roadster, stopped working on the passenger side. The bulbs look fragile so like others I have installed a flush fitting light over the passenger footwell which is powered by a switch on the radio blanking plate alongside the fan override. Illuminates the whole car !

I use the map reading light.

Courtesy lights on a Classic Morgan sounds a bit luxury to me wink .

Took me quite a while to find it Hugh. I wonder if the new owner has noticed it.
