Good luck!
MBE won’t release anything without the factory say so
I’ve talked their engineers and they acknowledge the problem but can’t do anything with our permission from above....

I thought on the 3.7l Roadster the factory had a fix but charged for it?

Yes Adrian Slade was involved in the testing of it.

And I think there is a long thread on here somewhere on it.

Having spoken to someone who has one he said he has adapted to deal with it. Yes the Rev hang is there. Mind you he is a capable driver.

I thought it was a trait of completely shutting off fuel to the injectors on over-run ? I've had to adapt my driving style for the 3.7, compared to the well mapped 3.0 S1

Surely that would bring the revs down quicker Jon, when in actuality its the opposite.

Yes, that's what mine does, decelerates like regen on an electric car (bit severe) strange yours rev-hangs ?

Here is the thread - http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/273706/1

I had the Rev hang problem on my 2016 Roadster. Eventually, after a long wait (delay in getting the parts) I had the factory fitted ECU upgrade which has solved the problem.
It also gave me an extra 20 BHP (as if the car needed it!) but it is much more responsive to the throttle, as born out by not just me but also another experienced Roadster owner who drove my car recently.
If you like to drive the car as some of us do, i.e. quickly, then I would recommend the upgrade. If you don’t normally get the revs over 3000 and just like cruising around looking at the countryside (nothing wrong with that either!) then don’t bother.

I think there are two issues here Jon. The generally accepted rev hang which affects upshifting and curable with an ECU upgrade, and what seems like excessive engine braking you are referring to. I believe the later is due to flywheel mass and a lighter flywheel is available.
