Having just read Smed from Tasmania's story about owning a Morgan for 60 years, it underlines the loyalty their owners feel for them. It's taken me until retirement to get mine (see link), and I hope I get as much from it as Smed! Mileage in first 3 weeks - 1100. I can now understand both the attraction as well as the occasional downside...

Nice car, lovely matching of hood, sidescreens and bodywork. I note there are no wing mounted side lights, could this car be an Anniversary, come Sport, come Centenary, come personal choice, version of the Roadster. It's so hard to keep up.

A beautiful car in a great shade of blue - Looks metallic? shades

Lightsphere, During Mid 2009 MMC decided to stop fitting Wing Side Lamps on Trads.

In the Centenary Roadster 100 Register, only the first few made still were delivered with them fitted. No more fitted after those.

Apparently they can be retro fitted with some drilling etc.

Choosing a colour (other than red, BRG or dark blue) is a BIG risk. Especially when you have postage stamp sized colour "chips" to go from. My heart was in my mouth when I went to collect the car. Luckily, it worked out well. The colour is 90's Mercedes metallic Beryll, often called green but only a tinge of it in the blue, really.
Roll on crisp sunny Winter days, as distinct from the snowy ones in tomorrow's forecast!

There are no wing side lights anymore on Trads ...
My September Plus 4 missed them and all the Plus 4s or Roadster I saw built later don't have them too scared swear

I would have prefered to have them, it has a nice vintage look !!!

Couldn't tell by the photo, but it's one of my favorite Merc colors and I do have an W124 Estate in this shade. My friends tend to call it "Brüll !" (German for shouting) - and it's easy to understand why. shades

Excellent choice!
