A friend of mine is in Europe right now and he came across this beautiful car on a ferry.

Any of you know what it is?

Excuse my ignorance if it’s obvious.

I haven't a clue but it's beautiful.

Yes I'd have it in a heartbeat.

Someone will turn up with an answer.

It's a special, whatever it is. Not enough resolution in the photo to blow it up well, but the badge is suggestive of Alvis as a base.

Oh for a few more photos and a little more detail.

Anyone else got any ideas?

That is the only photo he snapped. He must be using a Blackberry or iPhone 3G....the resolution is so poor! 😂

Lovely looking car. Maybe the design of our classics should move forward and incorporate an upright radiator and separate mudguards? Sort of retro-retro. Could be a good selling point if 3W demand is anything to go by!!!

Going on what little you can see of the top of the radiator, I would go for an Alvis special but I'm not a VSCC specialist.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

There's a Swiss flag on the bulkhead. The drilled chassis and big drum brakes show that it appears to have genuine old parts..........
