If anyone finds the front greasing a pain when trying to hold the hose on the nipple and pump the gun lever at the same time, then I recommend one of these, because it’s absolutely brilliant. Just clip it on the nipple, let go and pull the trigger for a couple seconds, job done.

It performs a routine lubrication up to twice as fast as a manual grease gun

690 bar (10,000 PSI) output pressure with a flow rate of 147g per minute, also delivers high pressure to clear clogged fittings.

However, some TM’s on here might say It’s a bit of an over kill, but IMO it’s worth every penny If it makes it easy and more fun crazy2

Yes, definitely an overkill - but I use a similar, not so sophisticated device for 8 years now. And I would not want to do greasing any other way.

Overkill?
A bit like throwing a grenade into a molehill to get the moles!
I use a pneumatic greasegun. Single handed is then easy and frees the other to raise the bronze plate to allow better bread distribution and lubricate it.

Come on guys this is like driving a 100m to get a newspaper. Yes they are brilliant if you own a JCB where you have to grease 20+ points every day. A decent hand pump grease gun is all a Morgan needs in my opinion.

That is a good idea. Doing 20/25000 a year , it is 15 times a year so I think it's worth it. thumbs

Every man to his own, but I think I can do the greasing just as quick and easy with my equipment: changed the bottom nipple (the single one I have, Devol bushings) to a 45 degress angled one for better acsess. Wanner grease gun with stiff nozzle, no flexible hose. Align the nozzle with the nipple, push the gun/nozzle to connect, operate the hand lever a few times, angle the nozzle slightly to disconnect, withdraw. Takes a couple of minutes each side. No need to jack up the car, no need to point the wheels outwards. Can it get easier. The stiff nozzle of the Wanner and the small, maneouverable size of the gun itself are key factors. Plenty on eBay.

And if anyone wonders how I fill the Wanner: before I got hold of it, I bought a cheap hand-operated gun meant for grease cartridges. Heavy, large and with the flexible hose that is a hassle under the Morgan. So now I simply fill the Wanner from the old gun. No spill, no air bubbles if you are a little careful.

It's a gadget, and I like gadgets..!

It's a grease gun when all said & done, but it's a top trumps grease gun..

When you've got the Morgan love, you've got the Morgan love..

That is one hell of a grease gun, if I had one I would want nipples everywhere. Craig, without being coarse, how much are they and do they take standard cartridges?

Didn't even use gear like that when working on heavy plant and forestry equipment. Ordinary grease gun and a wire brush to clean grease nipples
