When it stops singing to you, you know it’s time to part. Good luck in your search for its replacement. Mines down at Williams next week. Oh no Jay. There are so many many great roads in Cumbria to drive once the grockels go home, Having got the car to your liking now it seems such a shame to part with it now , but as ever it is of course your decision.

Good Luck with your search..I agree with the comment about treating my Morgan as a 4 wheeled motorbike..that's why I run aeroscreens to get the full effect!!!

We all have our reasons for buying Morgans, we all want different things from them and we all have different reasons why we fall out of love with them.
Enjoy the next adventure.

All is not lost! There is such a thing as whithdrawal symptoms. I fear you may have sorted out your +4 for the benefit of the new owner. As a confirmed addict I know its only a matter of time, for the dose of driving accompanied by pain kicks in, and I have to take to the road once more. I predict your next Mog will be better sorted than the first and better on the cost per mile.

Jono,
I know how you feel but I came back 3 times so my loss in depreciation doesn't bear thinking about but there is something about a Morgan that just gets under your skin. Whatever you buy next I hope you love it but I feel sure that there will come a certain day when all the stars are aligned and you will remember that very special feeling that you had in your Morgan and think " maybe" !!!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Jono,
my 4/4 is 2,5 years old and has as many miles on the clock as yours. I am not thinking about selling it, but I see your point. When it comes down to deciding, do I take the Morgan, the bike or the other 4-wheeled steed, I mostly end up by leaving the Morgan shiny and polished in the garage. And yet... It is the most beautiful car, I ever laid my hands on (can’t afford a GTO or Miura) and for me, driving it is not that bad. I was actually surprised the first time, since I expected the suspension to be much harsher.
My personal sum-up for sticking with the Moggie: the extraordinary ratio between price and eccentricity ;-))
And to come back to your decision: if I were faced with a financial desaster, or similar, the Morgan would go first.
Let us know about your follow up toy!
Cheers, Daniel

I suspect thats the fate of most toy cars and most bikes. Certainly is in my case. I average maybe 2k a year in the toy car, 2k a year on the bike and 15k a year in the family car. I finally sold the Lotus when I did 2 years of 750 miles a year. We're romantics really. Truth to tell the idea is better than the reality, particularly in our white van clogged pothole encrusted scamera infested roads

If I ever tired of the green godess heaven forbid , I'd likely get a Supersport , its pretty difficult to not have a Mog in the garage !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

Always sad to hear of someone giving up their Mog but fair to say they are a bit of an acquired taste and not for all. It also helps keep a supply of second hand cars for those of us in that market. Good luck with your next venture.
