I'l bet it sells quite quickly, in-spite of the mileage. Yes, it looks a great buy to me. If only it didn't have wire wheels, I'd be seriously tempted.

I skimmed thru the offerings on this thread. My experience is old Morgans. So I can not comment newer Morgans say from 2000. Prospective buyers are worried about rot and corrosion and appearance (cosmetics). Mileage gives bragging rights but very hard to prove. I was warned repeatedly about My building My +8 Bitsa. Morgan Parts from the junk yard and purchased from spares but not assembled in he Factory and no MM Chassis number. You will not find My +8 Bitsa in the Factory Log Book. What am I going to do? Use it for My coffin!

Mileage? Just renewed my insurance and it was a question they asked.. Had to go and check as I had no idea what it was.. 😄

66,000 miles, 32yrs old , kitted out like a Christmas tree. worth more than I paid for it 5yrs ago just need a buyer  But October is never a good time to sell a sports car

Since the original post I have reflected on the issues of ownership and the views subsequently expressed and these have convinced me that one should hang on to a good car irrespective of mileage, particularly if it has been 'personalised' to ones satisfaction and is in good condition. (oh - and really likes it of course!)
Couple of observations which I am sure have been aired before:
The personalisation and desire to make our cars different doesn't affect values in the way that it would to other classics where owners are hankering after authenticity in all details. Morgan must surely be alone in this trait?
Ownership is an inexplicable passion and, without overblowing it, the work we do to them makes them extensions of our own personalities which in turn makes for very difficult decisions when the time comes to move on for insurmountable practical reasons.
For my part, these thoughts have made me determined to keep and use my Plus 8 and to personalise it further so thank you all!

There's nothing better in my view than building up a long-term relationship with a car. I agree completely. I have a '61 DHC, I bought it from a Southern California who had made it for His Wife (of the time). It had a Fiat Twin Cam engine (not original) and a 3 speed GM automatic. It was a faded maroon color. I entered in a Morgan AllBrit. There it sat in the middle of 4 other spectacular DHC's with the bonnet up. All the Spectators were looking at My DHC and ignoring the others. Also asking many questions about it. My two Daughters love this Morgan and used it for their luncheon gatherings. I drove it to San Francisco and back to Seattle on Hiway 1. The second time I drove Hiway 1 in this Morgan. Will I sell it? NO! It will go with My estate. Does it have Rot? (Doesn't all Morgans have rot)! On and On.
