Whats wrong with wire wheels? When I pop my clogs I would like to be interred within the hub of a wire wheel (stainless).
Personal taste, mostly. I think they look great in narrow format, but a bit silly when they are that wide, also a bit too bling when they are shiny chrome or stainless. Also performance. In a high performance car like a Roadster, the weight penalty is a bit sub-optimal. I think Jays' minilites are absolutely perfect for a Roadster.

From a buyers perspective it is really all about, which car do you fancy and what are the reletive prices of available cars; model for model, age for age etc. Mileage for sure comes in to it the lower the better, all other things being equal and buyers would probably be influenced by that. It is a unit of currency afterall.

Wanting to insure the 2008 4/4 for its true value I recently sought the advice of Berrybrook and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it stands at £31,000.
Mileage is in the region of 63,500.
Asking Berrybrook about the mileage issue I was given to understand that in my case the difference would be about £1,000 reduction due to the higher mileage. After I factored in some add-ons like radiator, spots, shocks, walnut dash etc. costing about £1500, each mile I covered has ADDED about 2.5p per mile to the value!
Did Berrybrook offer to buy it at that price?  Insuring my wife's jewelry I was disgusted to find that the valuation for insurance was twice what I could have bought the same ring for second hand. Not suggesting that the Moggie valuation is twice what it would sell for - just pointing out that the only valuation worth anything is what someone is willing to put their hands in their pockets for.

Berrybrook have the 1981 car listed at £44995 and a 2001 3.9 with 34000 miles listed at £38995 There's no doubt in my mind that the 2001 car would be a better bet despite the higher mileage.
