Hi can anyone tell me the correct fuses to go into a 1952 +4. It had two spare fuses that came with the car a 35A and a 50A. Neither of which were in the fuse box. Just want to get some spares. Thanks in advance.

My 1961 Alvis has 2 x 30A fuses , I think this would have been the norm for this era's motor industry

That would tie in with the 30-0-30 ammeter which was the common fit of the era, although 35 amp would be fine and still protect ammeter. The latter were fitted to my 1966 LR.

Same with mine Richard.
I think those fuses were 25A continuous, 35A blow.

Thanks for the info, have no idea why it came with the 50A. Thought it couldn't be right.
