It was great to see you Kevin, lovely to see your car light up in the sunshine and show its greenliness!

Lenox to Bethlehem Penn via Egypt and Lebanon in sunshine. Followed the bright star. Called in at Lime Rock they wouldn’t let me in for a photo. North American Ferrari Club had it for a private Customer day. Pity. 210 miles covered. That’s 1100 since leaving Jersey City 9 days ago.

Not today, but last week, a quite Midweek Lunch run with some of the Sydney Members to Kurrajong, Lower Blue Mountains west of Sydney.
Apparently, in our early history, the area here was known as Malvern Hills.

Bethlehem to Gettysburg via the car museum at Hershey. A homage to all things Mustang. 160 miles the majority across Pennsylvanian farmland. Lovely sunny day and super smooth roads.

A splendid visit to the Classic Motor Hub this morning, a lovely selection of cars to be seen including a flippin' gorgeous AC Aceca.

I happened to have a look at some car care products from a local company called Revive Auto Apothecary and the chap looking after the display kindly gave me a free sample of their spray wax to try.

I had a quick go with it when I got home and it's very impressive stuff indeed, like Meguiar's liquid wax but in a spray bottle. It also smell very nice too. Goes on very easily and produces a great gloss.

They do the whole range of products you'd expect and the prices seem pretty competitive. Quite cute little antique-chemist style bottles too.

Usual disclaimer applies, I have no commercial interest blah di blah.

I saw what looked to be a new mint green +4 broken down on the M3 on Friday afternoon... I was not in a Morgan and would have stopped, but I had whistled past before it registered.

Glorious drive to Brooklands and back for the annual Morgan gathering..
Good to say hello to some friends and to go round the new exhibition spaces, including the amazing "Aircraft Factory". Well worth a visit.

The weather was just about perfect!

The inside of a Vickers Wellington Bomber was impressive and sobering...

This is looking forward. the metal "Geodesic" structure has wooden batons screwed to it and fabric sewn to the batons. Very strong and able to accept massive damage because there are many redundant load pathways. This section was being used as a chicken shed near Weybridge. It has been extensively restored.

Access inside is limited.... especially considering the forward fuselage crew (Pilot, Radio Operator, Navigator and front gunner) had to climb over the main wing spar, represented as a half section in the photo.
I was standing next to the stretcher where a wounded crew member would be laid out...after being dragged over the spar. Headroom is limited, I could not quite stand up in the main part and had to stoop to go through the frames.

Sobering to think they spent up to 8 hours in it. Very brave men,
