I had a similar experience in an MG Midget in 1978.

The screen came in but I hit a rear wheel which prevented a nasty outcome......

No underbody safety frame in those days!

We may see some of you guys next week at the Diamond Muster as we are heading towards Sydney and then Bathurst next Friday. Two TM members and A.N.Other plus wives. Should be an interesting trip...

Left Gettysburg in the early morning mist. Through Penn and onto Maryland before picking up the Skyline Parkway through Virginia. 230 miles, and very warm sunshine high 80F to Charlottesville.

Left Charlottesville yesterday morning to drive the first half of the Blue Ridge Parkway to Primland on North Carolina border. Last 100 miles in torrential rain. Edge of Hurricane Michael hit last night. It’s on days like this you wish you had a hood!!

Chatting with Henry we both agree that a big engined 4/4 special would be an interesting keeper one day 🙄

End of an era frown

Bad timing Stewart....it’s the Fellmog Scottish weekend tomorrow and hoping they won’t notice the SLK 🙄

Throw a dark stripe over the bonnet to look like a strap, they’ll never notice

They are all blind as bats

Well Stewart, I didn't see that coming! wink

So you noticed?!

Was it the lack of a spare on the back that gave it away?

Ha ha......we hid it away from the Morgans.

We did drive it in the rain with the roof down on Sunday so we did at least uphold Morgan traditions !

And I wore my Morgan T shirts under my sweater all weekend....don’t think anyone noticed though 🙄

Drove back from Techniques in Stotfold where the Plus 4 had just been for its first MOT and third service. Sailed through the MOT. Lovely warm evenings’ drive.
