The Flam railway is definitely worth the trip. Done it both in summer and winter.
Hopefully you will dock right next to the station itself unless another ship beats you there. A couple of nice short walks from there too but nothing really spectacular.
Bergen....do your own thing. Get to the city centre and visit the fish market....sample the deer/whale Meat! Go up the cable car up to the hilltop. Stunning views. Also the old wooden shops at the quayside.
Olden...can’t remember that much. Do some excursion research before hand but some can be better value booked locally.
Best time for Nortern lights is JAN/Feb. We went to Alta and watched them from the upper deck! Saved £££££ and the bar was handy. Damn cold though!
Some of the ecpxcursions go through the tunnels. Quite an experience as they are long and big with roundabouts and rest areas in them.
What dates are you going?
Summer/Winter offer different excursions and experiences.

Have a quick look around then buy 12kg of Firkløver chocolate and find a quiet corner to scoff the lot. You won’t regret it.

If you go on the Flåm railway look out for the Dancing Waterfall woman near some big falls. In spite of my telephoto lens I couldn't make out if it way a man (in drag) or a woman.

John...we’ve been to Norway 4 times and to a few different ports. Enjoyed them all. Tromso was good with a visit to a Husky expert who did the big races (Iditarod etc). Also sa2 where the Tirpitz was sunk. Excursions can vary a lot in content and interest so we often do our own thing with walks round the town etc.. A strong trip is to read up on the ports and areas for likely places to visit.
Which cruise company?
We have used Cunard and P&O.
Cunard were awesome but a bit more £.
With both we compared excursions to locally bought ones and in general enjoyed the local ones more. Some exceptions but money saved and often better itineraries. We looked at the brochure and googled for local alternatives.
Boat trips in particular are easy to do yourself locally.
Oh yes...the wailing waterfall lady looked female to me! Slim with bumps in the right places!
I must put some pics up.

I was 13 times with bike/sidecar in winter in norway. And I also was several times with camper and two years ago with my 4/4 in norway.
I must say that the Fjord Region is very impressive,
But norway has a lot more very impressive regions!

Bergen is a interesting town, Aalesund is also intresting.
I linke the lonely moments and roads in norway, the cruisepassengers often are in a hurry and sometimes very busy and loud... thinking

Robbie - how long have you had a Morgan - was yours a silver one I saw parken on Bryggen about 9 years ago?
Bergen is my favourite city and I had to go there from work on occcasions before I retired - we have friends there just up the hill from Bryggen with whom we did a house swap about 8 years ago - we also stay with them when we get to holiday in Norway.
The Bergen Card is good value if you are only there for one day - cheap/free entry and travel. Troldhaugen is great for concerts if you are there in an evening. To get yourself in the mood read some Gunnar Staalesen novels - set in Bergen - there are some translated into English.
If you go again the Hurtigruten trip is brilliant - Bergen to Kirkenes on a working mailboat with great passenger accommodation and excursions off.
Enjoy - Norway and the Norwegians are both great.

John, google "norway in a nutshell" for some good ideas. I spent almost 14 years in norge, its expensive but a fabulous country with lovely people, just look upon the money as beer vouchers.
