Fitted new AVO shocks front and rear on Thursday and Friday,then took the car for two spins up the river and a few other trips this weekend too. The weather was great and the car transformed. Most I have driven the. Morgan since my two spine ops and fusion in May. Stiff and sore but happy and Elrond is washed and put away ready for the next outing. Next weekend with any luck 😄
Careful, don't do what I did and fall off a pavement and break you ankle 2 1/2 weeks after finally getting back work after my ACDF on my neck!

Great trip over Dartmoor and a big Cream Tea in Princetown at the Old Police Station - one MGC closely followed by 2 Triumph GT6's waving seen around Hounds Tor.
Loads of kayakers all over the place as the rivers are in spate.
Cool at 10C but fresh on top and warm feet as usual.

Drove over to the Norfolk coast to pick up the motorhome that had been in the dealers for warranty work. Nice walk along the coast as well with the dog. Then back on my onesome.

Did the Mrs hijack the terrier then ? The Mrs & the terrier drove home in the van. Which left only me to drive the Morgan home!

Did the Mrs hijack the terrier then ? The Mrs & the terrier drove home in the van. Which left only me to drive the Morgan home! Fair one Mum needs protection

Savannah Georgia to Georgetown SC. Initially in mist and high humidity. 180 miles in hot sunshine a little unpleasant at 95F. Continue north in SC tomorrow

Here are more photos of Southwold. Firstly the brewery  Then the light house. The pub commemorate the Battle of sole Bay where we with the French fought the Dutch navy in the 1700s. A bit like Jutland it was inconclusive.

Certainly better weather over there compared to here in North Dorset where the rain has setup shop (can't drive anyway) but do miss that blue above our heads.
