Getting a panhard rod fitted tomorrow morning will probably go for the brake reaction bars next year with the service. smile

They do stiffen up the rear end a bit but I think it’s a small price to pay for the improvement in axle location when cornering hard. I’m still not convinced about the front reaction bars but then it’s not an expensive mod.

I got the impression they mean the Suplex kit Peter.

Correct, it's a strange retail name for it, but it is the SSL (Suplex) and the factory buys the kit if parts in from SSL

Price of the option seems high : 821.54*1.20= £986 compared to the price of the kit: 595*1.20= £714, a difference of £272.

The SSL kit includes the springs, the ball race and the front adjustable dampers.
In the price of the option £986, the cost of the standard springs, ball race and dampers have to be deduced, and half an hour of hourly rate for gap adjusting has to be added.

But ordering it avoid a dismounting/mounting of the front suspension in a second time which could be perhaps more expensive?

The brake reaction bar comes into effect with very hard braking. Otherwise the crosshead must absorb the forces. Also help tearing bigger holes in the wings where the wing stay bolts on to the wing. In My case the wing lite is the fastener.

Does anyone know how the factory set up the standard front suspension these days.

I.e rebound spring pre-loaded or free?

What you are saying sounds interesting - but I cannot work out what you are saying! Please clarify.

Not sure I can explain it any better. Without the race brace the front wing cracks at the point of the Wing Light. The Wing Light Post fastens the Wing to the wing stay which is connected to the crosshead.

As all cars come from the factory without the brake reaction bars, does that mean that most stand a chance of tearing holes in the wings? A new one to me!
