Great drive up to Longframlington in Northumberland in my P4SS in spring like weather.
Sold a valuable watch to a gentleman and decided to deliver it rather than trust post.
He gave me lunch as a thankyou..how nice was that!!!!
Only disappointment was I waved in JBW's direction as I was driving down the A1 but no response !!!
Another Happy Day in the Morgan !!!

Nice run over Dartmoor today with fellow Fossilmoggers. Met up at National Trust cafe at Bovey Tracey for coffee and then six Mogs (2 x Roadsters, 1 x Aero S4, 1 x Plus 8, 1 x Plus 4, 1 x 4/4) set off over the moor to the Two Bridges Hotel for a lovely lunch beside a log fire. Two other Mogs ( 1 x 35th Anniversay Plus 8, 1 x 1970s Plus 8) joined us there. The weather was not kind and whilst some of us foolishly believed the weather forecast and lowered our hoods the rain came down and, with a 40 mph limit on the moors, dampened our day a little. Still, good to get out there and a nice lunch with good company can’t be bad.

Fabulous run around Machynlleth today taking in the B4518 and the Staylittle to Forge mountain (ish) road. It really gives the car a good workout.
Llyn Clywedog was spectacular in the sunshine with the autumn colours starting to appear.
As an Englishman, have to be careful to avoid the Owain Glendower centre in Mach.
Saw the Hawk trainers flying down the valley near Corris and Cadair Idris.

As it was a lovely day yesterday we drove up to Walberswick and the Southwold. Top down & in summer clothing we enjoyed the Indian summer. In Walberswick the flock of geese was huge & Southwold just shone in the sunshine. Naturally we had to have 99 as well. Lovely area, My Cousin has a Norfolk Oyster moored up the way. We sailed in the Norfolk Oyster World Champioships 2 years ago.

In the last couple of days Georgetown to Beaufort via Surf City and the devastation of Florence. And then today a stunning drive in beautiful sunshine up the Outer Banks. Left Beaufort at 0600 to pick up the rescheduled ferry to Hatteras then 100 miles to Kill Devil Hills That’s now 3100 miles since Jersey City.

I had never heard of Hatteras.... what an interesting spot. Just Google street viewed it. Looks remote and exposed. Is it a holiday destination for many?
