I think this could be a very good race with Ferrari having the pace and the need to upset the Mercedes party, we already know that Vettel is not adverse to crashing into other cars for gain too.

And I don't think anyone could be disappointed with that race Richard! Very pleased for Kimi but also because the racing was good, clean, and Lewis will have to fight on for the title.

I agree Kerry it was changing all the time and for me Max was the man of the match he is maturing nicely, talking of which I was really pleased for Kimi too he is a very cool customer unlike his team mate.

Good race, my only disappointment is Alonso. It has been such a waste to see him in a dud car. That said, it’s his own doing.

I watched 90% of this race -it is the first time for a long time that I have watched F1 (I watch British Touring Cars usually).

Unfortunately F1 just does not do anything for me...Hamilton obviously had a quick car, came steaming up behind Max with 7 laps to go, gets within 2 seconds and then it is just follow the leader.

Until they can sort overtaking out - I will stick to tin-tops

I wonder if our four time world champion and soon to be five has a little bit of talent as well as a fast car not to mention balls of steel.

He is by far the most talented F1 driver Britain has produced, this year he has been operating at a whole new level above the rest of them on the grid and Vettel's face tells that story too.

I would like to have seen Alonso in a competitive car though alongside him as he is another real instinctive racer.

Ferrari didn't win this race, Mercedes lost it. Both pit stop calls could have been done better by a quick fit fitter. The second call could have been done some ten laps earlier, giving Lewis at least second place.
