Hello all,
My book says my gearbox oil is “FMT ONLY”. Any idea what this is please?

Morris Lodexol MTF 75W-80 - 1.2 litres

Castrol Syntrax Long Life 75W-90

Will do the job.

Simon, just a quick tip...

Make sure you can get to, and release the refill plug comfortably BEFORE you drain down, if you are doing an oil change - it's a bit embarrassing to have an empty 'box you can't re-fill

Thanks for the tip, I' did the job no problem with a little hand held filler pump with a goose neck on the end of the pipe - one of my more successful purchases

Where did you source the pump and any photos?
