Guys
A Red 1982 +8, chassis number R9112, was stolen from a workshop in Germany.
This car is LHD so unlikely to be offered in UK , but if you do hear anything about a red +8 being offered from an unknown seller please pass on the details to our friends in Germany

First time I’ve heard of a Mog been stolen in Europe
Difficult car to hide or pass on without being identified Exactly Stewart, my guess is that it will be hidden for a while before it is offered for sale at which point the Morgan community should be able to spot it easily. My worst fear is that it would be broken up for parts.

Hmmm strange! A Morgan stolen that was in repair process after an accident since 2015...  Edit: Here the (German) information: MORGAN GESTOHLEN!!! Unserem Clubfreund Ulli Börst wurde aus einer Morgan-Werkstatt sein roter Plus 8 (aka RotRunner), R 9112, Bj. 1982 gestohlen. Der Wagen stand dort seit 2015 und sollte nach einem Unfall wieder aufgebaut werden. Nun ist er vor Fertigstellung gestohlen worden. Bitte haltet Augen und Ohren nach dem Fahrzeug offen. Wenn Euch oder Freunden Teile oder der ganze Plus 8 angeboten werden, oder Ihr sonstige Informationen erhaltet, so würden wir uns über eine entsprechende Kontaktaufnahme über Messenger oder einen Kommentar freuen. Bitte teilt den Beitrag auf eurer Seite.

Hmmm strange! A Morgan stolen that was in repair process after an accident since 2015... That is indeed a long time off the road , and a very long rebuild indeed. I don't have any more details.

I remember a Mog stolen in the late 1980s over there it just filtered out of mog owners minds never heard of it been found . Going to contact a German friend who has a classic car and give him the details to pass on. No betting the scum may be reading TM if they steal a Mog . So "BETTER BEWARE WHAT WE WRITE".

Anything is possible but the insurance payout will require evidence of work done. I doubt it will pay market value for a partly restored car and much will depend on evidence provided by invoices paid to date.
Sometimes, dismantled cars are not insured so that may complicate matters. (terms & conditions of policy).
