You could try Harpers on 01923 260299 their Part Number is FUL270 if the unit has screw hole fitting. Heart of England Morgans on 01299 250141 are excellent for spares also.
Melvyn Rutter is another supplier of parts although I have had no dealings with him. Harpers and HOE I have and found them most helpful. I hope this resolves query for you.
All these suppliers are on the web, if you have difficulty locating the sites I will send the links.
Good Luck Paul.

Hello, I am also after a sender for my 2001 plus 8 does anyone know what other vehicles they are fitted to?
On another subject, is there a problem with the supply of windscreens for the two seater above?
I ordered a windscreen 5 months ago and the wrong one was delivered, the one for my car has fixing studs for the hood on the top rail which I assume is standard and I was supplied with one with no fixings.
5 months later I am still waiting?

The thing you need to be very careful of is that MMC have always 'used what they have' so check exactly what type of sender/ tank your own car has- DON'T rely on the standard approach of 'Well my car is such andssuch a date so therefore it must have such and such a unit'

As to the screen, I dont know if you went to your dealer or the Factory but in eiother case ( even more in the latter) they should be able to sort this. If they can't, then a bit of judicious- but not over the top- insistence might be a good way to get a result. Foot stamping should be held in check for a later date ( but might eventually be necessary!)
regards,
G

PS From the brief description, a no-stud windscreen sounds far too modern

Hi
thanks for that, I used a well known dealer for the windscreen but I do not want to name or shame and I am giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it is a long time to wait and it can become depressing after a while, I also beleive that a studless screen is too new for my car.
Thanks again

Hi,I do have a studded frame surround but I am reluctant to try putting it on the new screen that I have in case I break it, as it is the heated one and was quite expensive!
I think I will just have to wait until the correct one arrives if ever!
I am thinking of getting some 6mm laminated cut to fit in the old frame so that at least I will be able to drive it again, at least once the snow dissapears! thanks for the advice.
Will
