In fact I enjoyed it so much so that I'll be collecting the car next weekend

An excellent choice (no bias here ;-) ). And very well suited to Derbyshire roads.

Worth joining the MSCC - you have two excellent centres near you. DonMog meet at The Plough, Normanton on Soar (a few miles from J24 M1) and TorMog meet at The Crispin, Great Longstone.

I’m confused when it comes to Morgan steering

My 2000 4/4 was fine but on the heavy side compared with modern vehicles and especially at slow speeds and parking (I did put a 16” steering wheel on it, mainly for a vintage large wheel look, which was super) but my 2008 Roadster is light as a feather

So much so that I thought it was had power steering to which Lifes Motors said “don’t be silly it doesn’t” “Oh” I said. Then Andy drove it and said he couldn’t believe how light the steering is. We both sratched our heads.

I still don’t know why it’s so light but it’s lovely

Does it have Mulfab bearings? Because my Roadster is very light on the steering.
