Cause of fumes entering the car is due to the position of the exit pipe with the car body.Had this with a Tvr and after adjusting the exit pipe it stopped it happening. On another point , if you are interested in having a switchable exhaust on the 3.7, Krazy Horse dealership have just completed testing their 3.7 which i have driven . This prompted a memory. I've seen a similar situation transformed simply by expending the exhaust pipe a couple of inches.

Sounds like a wonderful car. Hope you have lots of fun once you have fitted the wing liners.
No exhaust fumes detected in our 4/4.
Was there a recent post (KEVFITZ ?) mentioning a GPS speedometer? May prove to be the easiest fix. I use the speed readout in my Sat-Nav a lot - still off to the side but closer than the speedo.
I bought the TM recommended one, it sits on top of the transmission tunnel, works well & is nice and bright with numerals about 20mm high, it also has a HUD function but not tried this yet, as I suspect a Mog 'screen will receive too much light on the inside to work well It's great for helping you hold a steady 30mph in built up areas, as the 3.7 speedo is difficult to read accurately at the angle you view it from

The damping on the coil sprung rear on mine seems very firm so will leave that alone.
Richard Are the factory rear shocks adjustable on their 5 Link setup? If so you can easily soften them up to give a more compliant ride, which is one of the big benefits of the 5 Link system. No they are not unfortunately. It was suggested that type approval would be difficult to obtain if they were. Using the severe skinny sleeping policeman in an Asda car park I was able to access that even with my front AVO shocks on setting 6, the rear were still firmer despite having full tank.

Lovely looking Roadster...of course blue is the fastest colour  I love the full width bumper fitted to the front too...I have now purchased one for mine (not cheap!)  Are your spot lamps "Cibie's?" Thanks Mark

Max, The side exit pipe on my Plus Four was deep ,mellow and distinctive . What are they like on the Roadster please?

I'd like to try extending the tail pipes a bit to cure the exhaust fume problem, but the tailpipes are the rear exhaust suspension points which makes it difficult to alter their position. But I may be able to come up with something....
Interesting to hear I'm not the only one with the AR exhaust to have this issue, so maybe it is the length of the tailpipes?
I'll also give SBM's idea of opening the windows a bit to see if that improves things, so thanks for the suggestion.
I like the idea of a supplementary GPS speedo, so thanks for the info Paul & Kevfetz. It'll be interesting to see how the two compare on the Roadster, as in my +4 when checked with a sat-nav, the car's speedo was over-reading by quite a margin until I replaced the original 195/60/15's with 195/65/15's. Then it was spot on.
Yes Mark, the spot lights are Cibie Oscars, and painted in matching body-colour. Not sure how effective they are yet, but I'm not expecting to be disappointed.

Surely no-one drives a Morgan in the dark, as you can't see yourself in shop windows then..!!

Re short shift lever.
Tried googling the thread re shortening the lever but came up with nothing relevant to a Roadster.
Any links you can offer? Cut the stick to shorten the shift, cheapest mod and makes gear changing more fun. Andymot on here gave me this top tip, well done Andy M
