That was the dodgiest episode of Wheeler Dealers, I think. The car was sold back to the dealer from which it was bought. And there was no mention, as far as I recall, of the state of the ash frame...

The purchasing dealer advised they had to tweek some Morgan Specific adjustments but they denied there was any major rework required.

So what was wrong with it? What I saw on TV was much what I would have expected - new chassis and various suspension bits. Seemed reasonably done bearing in mind that they try to re sell at a profit which rules out a top to bottom complete rebuild.
I very much doubt that a dealer would have done any different. Again they have a profit to make and as we all know, the cost of a real nut and bolt resto is always well more than the car can ever be sold for.

I think it worked out well for the dealer - most of the essential work had been done and he got some publicity at minimum cost.
