Hello Members,
Can anyone recommend suppliers of sports exhaust systems for the Aero 8 Series 1. Do Morgan produce such an OEM system or would it need to be aftermarket suppliers ?
Thank you in advance.

Not exactly sure but Krazy Horse have lots of experience in altering exhausts to make lovely sounds , give them a ring , could be a lot cheaper than a whole new system .
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

These people are very good and have Morgan Classic experience and will make you anything you want at a good price, they have to have the car of course. https://stainlesssteelexhausts.co.uk/No connection with the outfit but have seen some of their work and it's top class. Adrian that use to visit here had some work done his Plus 8 by them and was very pleased with the result and costs.

Hi Captain...(do you have a name?) Librands can still supply a “sports” exhaust for the S1. It’s built to order and costs £1600 but makes a lovely crackle without being intrusively loud. Simon

Librands is the only company, as far as I know, that offered an upgraded system off the shelf. Having said that my S1 has a big bore system fitted by a previous owner, a non Librands of unknown origin!

I have the Librands, and after its bedded in (takes a little while with all new exhausts) it has a lovely burble and crackle without being obtrusive when cruising. It also has a lovely set of longer rear pipes that you can see under the floor, this really suits the retro design of the car as they flow upwards slightly making them quite visible.

Agreed, when I had mine I was going to make a “diffuser” to fit between the pipes.....sadly never got around to it. Simon

Have a chat with Phil at BHM, they have sold more Aeros than almost anyone, and know the car really well . He will be able to source the right product , be it Librands or elsewhere, and their spanner men are very good at getting parts to fit.
