Hi - I have just taken delivery of a new Moto Lita steering wheel for my M3W . Have swapped the quick release boss between the wheels and am now struggling to fully seat the boss on the spline. No obvious reason why but was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same ?.

They can be fussy to get fully seated. Check the splines and you'll see one keyed "flat" area that has to align up with the same flat area on the hub interior splines. If you're off one spline tooth in rotation when you slide it on, it will not seat down fully.

A very wise woman once told me if you take the wheel off while the spokes are completely horizontal it will help you greatly while getting the wheel back on later

My wheel has a seam in the leather so that when lined up with the "flat" area on the splines the wheel will slide on
