Dad's Morgan
Found this old picture of his Plus 4 - I think it must have been a 1953 or 54 (Standard Vanguard Engine). He seemed to think it was a limited run with an 'in between' grill.

TBM that is a very lovely photo. Your father is a young man full of driving pleasure and owner pride. I have learned here that this interim models are very rare, made about 12 or so?

It is an interim model, but most have been converted to cowls over the years.

Thank you - he's now 84, and very keen to be one of the first passengers when I get my first....

Wonderful picture . Great to see it. The only other interim grill/cowled car I can remember is that of the late Pat Kennet , now owned by his widdow Carol? So yes they are indeed very rare.
I will try to dig out a picture of that one from somewhere.

I just checked the DVLA web site, and they have no record relating to the reg number on the car.

Still around - at least in 1980 as a photo of the car appears on the back cover of Ken Hills book 'The Four Wheeled Morgan Vol 2'
May have been exported?

What colour is it? The factory could, I imagine, tell you the chassis number from the registration. That might make it easier to track down if it's been exported. Ken Hill suggests that there was a maximum of 19 of these interim cowl models produced and some of these would have been four seaters.
