Aim seriously thinking to put LED on my car, I have a motorcycle and use to drive like this. With my grey and flat car it’s the same, you have a lot of dreamer on the road.
With the LED(or Light) on you are sure that you are seen.
OK , it’s true to that a lot of driver see you in your Morgan and are fascinated and drive their car direct in your direction (line of sight)
I have picture from a German driver how has them installed, not so bad. Hella has them also Round.

I have also try to put small Led in the side lamp, but inefficient = to small.

My (model year 2000) Harley was like that. Manufacturers have pre-empted the potential DRL legislation...

Thanks for the link to Hella, very informative. If they should bring out one in "nostalgic" design I will order it instantly.

A good idea,
Everyone should visit the Volvo service centre once a year to....
Taxis here have lights on during the day so do RTA service vehicles.

You can buy running lights at the moment, long, thin, straight ones.
They could easily be fitted below the bumpers on Trad morgans and the lower wings on the latest ones.
But how that would look is another matter.
Maybe they could be moulded into the actual shape and curve of the wings. That would look more refined and natural.
"Liquid runners" for all...

If you are doing nothing, how do you know when you are finished?

In Norway daytime driving lights are obligatory. I drive with the dipped beam on.

If you are worried that the light bulbs burn out too fast, it is possible to add a daylight driving circuit with a resistor to produce a reduced effect daytime driving light which turn on automatically when you start the engine. The light bulbs should then live longer. Make sure the daytime driving lights turn off if you turn the parking lights on and go into full strength when you turn on the normal driving lights.

Harald, I did that on my Sebring. Bought a Module in Canada where daytime driving lights are obligatory, too. It was a simple "pull out - push in" conversion. But I am afraid that it wouldn't be so easy to fit such a module into the medievial circuit of an old car like my 4/4. What do you think?

The wiring diagram below explains how to set up the lights.

If you want to run the daytime driving lights on the dipped beam headlights, just put a resistor on the output from the relay on the right side and connect it to the low beam HID cable. That way you get reduced voltage on the low beam headlights during daytime.
