Return journey hotels booked. Last one (Hotel du Golf) was showing as having no available rooms on Booking.com and Expedia but I managed to book direct on the hotel’s website.

Just been checking up on the hotel parking situation for the outbound hotels. No problems for most but worth booking the 10 Euro covered parking at Bormio, or have "street". It's an extra 12 Euros for Trier hotel underground and "limited free parking" at Lecco.

Did you also check the return journey ones? You need to request parking for the Belfort hotel as it is a small car park the other two return hotels have plenty.

Hotels booked for the outbound and leisurely return  Belfort and Chamouille both showed full on Booking.com but had availability direct

FYI, this is reply I got from hotel in Lecco re parking:
Dear Mr Denton
Thank you so much for booking our hotel and for writing to us , we would like to inform you that there is a garage 50 meters away from the hotel , no need to book in advance for it , the cost for the current year is €9 per night , to be settled directly at the garage .

Ditto re Best Western Hotel Trier City:
Dear Mr Denton,
unfortunaly, our house have no unterground parking, only outside parking it costs 12,-€ a day.
But there is a public garage that is underground near from a hotel. This costs 15.30 a day.
For further information do not hesitate to contact us.
