I mentioned in another thread that my fog light, which I've never used, was very gently glowing in my garage a long time after I turned the car off. I'd say about 10% illuminated... very weird as there isn't a dimmer switch. smile

A few 'on' and 'offs' and it went out. I am not overly impressed by some of the electronics - a few of the dash lights come on and off at will.

There is a dimmer switch, it is hidden right under the dash. Serrated wheel with axis from door to door about the size of a new 10p.

Sit in the drivers seat and place your right hand on the dash just next to the wheel column. Slide your open palm down and just feel around for the wheel.

Or stick your head under the dash and take a torch!

100% correct (assuming it's the same of the AeroSS). Round thing next to the OBD2.
Here is a pic I took ages ago for different reasons

I meant, there's no dimmer switch for the fog lamp.... the red lamp at the rear. I am aware, of course, that there's a dimmer switch for the instrument lights. smile

Ah ha! Well I hadn't a clue what either of them were for. Thanks chaps.

I too had a weird electrical issue quite recently: on turning the ignition key on my Plus 8 (but before pressing the 'start' button), the horn would sound. Gave up trying to fathom the issue but two days later (whilst waiting on advice from Williams and having returned to the car a few times), the problem disappeared. Strange indeed.

I'm off to play with my dimmer switch......

That's a different switch from the one in my Series 2 - far more aesthetically pleasing!
