I had one called "The Rock Machine I Love You", a compilation album. It had Susanne by Leonard Cohen, 'Somebody to Love' by Jefferson Airplane, and a fair range of other late '60s US hits.

Sorry never really liked music. Now it's got to the point where we even walk out of restaurants if there is a bloody row playing. You cannot seem to get away from it these days aaaaaarrrgh.

I don't really do song favourites because depending on the mood, it could be anything from Opera to Heavy Metal.

However, I was blown away by Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run when my wife introduced me to it in the early 80's. Been a fan of his early stuff ever since.

She also introduced me to Leonard Cohen with Perfect Day one very memorable evening long before it became popular.

Also possibly Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe with Barcelona.

Can't stand radio 1 now.

Music passed me by in my youth as I was too busy racing Karts so I dread to think what my music collection would be like without my wife's influence.

+1 One of my all time favourites also..That voice is surreal.

thumbs I have the collectors edition double CD. And no Richard, it's not for sale.

Such a hard one to answer as depends on the mood.

But Comfortably Numb is one of my funeral tracks, Swmbo knows that I want it timing so that just as the guitar solo cuts in the conveyor belt starts and I go behind the curtains....

(Morbid.? Maybe - but we will all die at some time and knowing this sort of thing can take some pressure off those that are left...)
