laugh2 I was, but I do also like that tune.

Also unpopular, but only because she died too young to be.

Discovered her recently, looks like a school teacher, but lovely voice, nice harmonies and guitars. One example but there are lots:

Thanks I really enjoyed that I had never heard her before.

Me neither, sad - died age just 44

Was enjoying this unlikely duo earlier

Thanks for sharing that a really nice combination of talents.

A favourite of mine of mingling talents is this one.

Only on TM could people get punchy about others musical tastes..!!

A life without music would be interminably dull, and like most people I have things I like and things I've yet to like, with a fair sprinkling of stuff I don't...usually the muzak that's played in hotel lifts..

I'm a huge fan of live music, even after a front row seat at Steve T's birthday concert watching Hamwich play. One of us needed an award.. innocent

And yes, CJ. Your opinion is equally valid on here.

To kick off, mine is:- "A Whiter Shade of Pale" Don't know why it just gets me! love hippy

Did you hear about the royalties saga on this song Reg?

Strange organ the brain - we must have something in common with the bit that deals with cars, but the neurons and synapses diverge again when it comes to music.

Having said that, still don't quite get the M3W idea

Thanks for that Clipper, I hadn't read that despite being a fan. Their best axe player though was of course Robin Trower who went on to maker some great LP's

On the subject of Muzak: in a past life, I had to spend 2 weeks at the Intercontinental Hotel Rawalpindi! (Don’t ask why)
The hotel had a Muzak tape that repeated every two hours. In the public areas and in the lifts!!

scared

Remember skiing in Bulgaria in February and at breakfast the music alternated between Christmas songs and some kind of death metal.

Not great when you have an apres ski hang over.

"Telstar" by the Tornados for me. It's the first record I ever remember playing on a jukebox, over and over again on holiday at Munday's caravan park in Bognor Regis!

55 years later it has top billing on the jukebox in my front room.

Here's my top 10 which includes some previously mentioned:

Back to topic, this is a difficult one, if I have to choose, Prince, Sign o the Times.
The song, not the album.
