101", 1 tonne, GS
Dad and I always fancied one, then figured it might be a bit OTT for towing the horse trailer (and he'd never have managed to get in/out).
Starting to fetch silly money now Dave.

FC Landies do indeed look great, but according to LR enthusiast and fellow Morgan owner Julf Helsingius they are dreadful things to drive.

And if I had the garage of my dreams....and I do have a recurring dream of discovering this old dilapidated village garage, covered in undergrowth, I would rebuild one of these 101's................

In the mid 1980s Land Rover took back some 101s from the British Army.
The initial idea was to refurbish them, for onward sale to an overseas military.
I’m not sure if the project was ever was completed.
However, I did drive one from Solihull to Central London to the embassy of the interested party.
A bit of a beast to drive. You had to reach back to the gear lever!
However, even the taxis got out of the way!

Wilson Laidlaw on here will echo that too Tim.
The Volvo C303 was a much better drive, apparently.
I've only ridden in a 101", never driven one. Interesting to watch the other traffic smile
