Happy New Year everyone.

Curious to know if anyone has changed the springs/dampers from the original setup on their S1 with good results.

I feel the car is underdamped and skitters about over bumby roads. Any recommendations out there?

many thanks, Jappo.

KW do various adjustable coilover systems that tend to be rated highly. I believe they will custom make you a kit to your specific needs.

I guess the hard bit would be finding a good firm to have the requisite knowledge to set the car up in line with your wants/needs more than simply sourcing good components.

K&W in germany has developed a adjustable Spring/damper unit for the Aero 8.
I just bought it (€ 2.700) and it will be installed in my Aero8 GTN (VX 53 KTJ) next week. I will tell you how it works. But I think for hard track day use (for example Nürburgring Nordschleife) you have to modify the rear wishbones and the front brakes too. (Call Richard Thorne)

The standard K&W set doesn`t fit in the S 1.
