Just bought a very low mileage 2013 in Sport Blue and black quilted leather. Factory Bright Pack. It's currently in Chicago being upgraded with steering kit, cooling fan, chassis brace, steel sprocket, and rectifier reposition. Already has the compensator lube mod, and timing case spacers.
Looking forward to getting it home! Will immediately drill exhaust baffles and drop in the JWSpeaker 8700 LEDs.

Phil Congrats on the new ride. You may be very lucky and not have this issue, but with the old style Harley compensator even with the grease fitting mod, it will not last forever and a Centa upgrade will be needed at some point. It's very hard to get grease into the very deepest area where the main splined hub slides into the sprocket lower ramp. The two mating surfaces do not get greased and when this wears, which it will, the Bellville washer pack will lose some of its compression and the compensator will start to get noise; starts with a small rattle and then gets worse. Plenty of threads on the compensator of old. Hope you have many miles of smiles. Heated seats in your area will be nice, just to take the chill off in those fall and spring drives.

Thanks Dan, I'm up to date on the various compensator threads and decided that instead of spending the Centa money (big $) now, I'm going to see what happens with mine. There are examples of the HD unit lasting several thousand miles so I'm going to cross that rattly bridge when I come to it! Either way, I budgeted for the eventual upgrade. Unfortunately no heated seats!

I'm in NE Indiana an hour and a half North of you and was eyeballing that exact same Sport Blue Morgan before deciding to bite the bullet and order new. Great purchase! It's funny that its home will be so close.

Started off planning to buy a new one, but for the sake of affordability and resulting marital harmony went the other way. Did you buy yours through Norb?

I'm new here myself after lusting for one since inception. Also compared used and new before buying a discounted leftover. In the end, the M3W is a classic 'pay now or later' proposition. Just depends on 'when and how' you want to pay but pay you will. For me the pivot point came when I saw <'14 models selling on BaT that needed 'everything (@$10k)' and or >'14+'s with miles that cost near the net of new but should have depreciation. Point is, get on the road either way but we have to pick our battles Too many past 'projects' for me that met with spousal disapproval to not gulp the entire glass of kool aid upfront and apologize once! Enjoy!

It's funny that its home will be so close. Looks like the Midwest contingent is growing. I am in the Chicago ‘burbs, and two of our early adopters are no longer in the area. Along with Royal Lichter, we should get a spring or summer meet-up/drive together when the ice and salt is a distant memory. My M3W is hibernating with Sta-Bil and a battery tender.

I haven't put a deposit down yet but will be going through a dealer in MI instead. I feel bad since I met Norb a while back and he recently spent a couple hours with me, but I realized due to location I wouldn't be going to him for service so I felt like I should start the dealer relationship early and order through the dealer I would be going to. Norb is absolutely a top notch guy and his shop is fantastic though, your Morgan is in good hands up there. I've been playing with the configurator for what feels like the last year or so. I think it's just about time to finally put one in my garage:

Enjoy! Thanks! I hear you - that's why I'm getting the upgrades done before it even hits my door (for a LOT less than $10k). BTW, I talked to your dealer about the car you bought after it didn't sell on BaT. I liked it a lot but piddled around too long. It was a great deal - congrats! I hope you enjoy it for years!
