Great little motor. I like the headlamps.

I often wonder what would happen if that was the only model they offered. When you get the recipe right is it worth bothering with all the other models.

Sadly yes, 'cos Grandma may not want all that performance just to go shopping.

You lucky bar steward!
Ford have developed the Fiesta really well. swmbo used to have them as a works car in a slightly better than basic form. I loved driving them.
I am tempted to get a second hand one as a runabout.
Look forward to your reviews... drive

Lawrie love the car particularly performance pack just want to drive down country roads but have not used launch control yet! Although reviews say it is a quicker car there is not so much of a punch in lower gears on some of my favourite routes but am not pushing things until have reached 1000 miles. Many criticise less aggressive look and styling is too close to ST line but I prefer the lower more subtle look. Disappointed Ford has has not addressed moving the obd port for security reasons. I had this moved on the mk7 have also fitted tracker as had this on the other car as there are still 3 years of membership left. Polished alloys ! So must take care as to not curb them! At £80 per repair thinking of taking out insurance. But not with dealer! Tidy alloys do unlimited claims for 3 years for £179
Regards Roger

Update -- I have now hit the 600 mile mark & my verdict is this car is truly amazing.
I had the previous mk7 example & the mk8 is so much better. I can see why so awards have been won in the motoring world. As a stock factory car, Ford have once again beaten their rivals.

My engine is now loosening up & is loving to rev freely. The noise from the exhaust is very good & the uprated Quaife diff is a wonder, really pulls the car in the corners.
