Top of morning gentlemen - I have spent the last few days bleeding my brain dry in "designing" my dream 3 wheeler. And I was wondering can you have the body in brushed silver / brushed aluminum ?

Yes - see this price list under Polished Body - but it is almost £8000 and keeping it clean could be a full time job. M3W price list Some owners have them. They certainly stand out.

I would have thought brushed to be the opposite of polished, though!

Strikes me that you would need to first prepare finish on bare aluminium then laquer it in. Not sure how that would look with enough coats to give same protection as trad paint. The cynical side of me suggests that you would have early warning to paint lifting though

Yes that was my exact thought - I looked around on the forum but no one seems to have gone for the brushed "look". Its not on their 2018-2019 price list of option as well. This is the finish i'm looking for This is the combo i'm thinking of Front Look idea

Not sure if brushed is an option. Brands Hatch Morgan did a polished M3W with pink wheels about three years ago. If I remember correctly they took the car from the factory to get the polishing done, and sent it back for finishing. That's how I remember it. This is a different one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWuCJo0IffM

Brushed isn’t an option. I have seen a Plus 4 in France with a brushed alloy body and it looked very retro. It wasn’t lacquered and the owner just rubbed it with WD40 or Duck oil I seem to remember. He had rather nice aged leather to go with it too 🤪
It’s quite a coincidence......I dreamt last night of having a Three Wheeler and rubbing down the paint with wire wool to age and patinate it 😳

Krazy Horse a UK dealer have recently finished their stage 4 tuned M3W demonstrator to achieve a brushed metal effect. They have used heat shrink plastic covering though.

Interesting - I didn't think this would be such a rare idea. Well i'm sure that "option" would probably require me to sell my 2 kidneys and my sole.
Polished is just like a linen suit - the more you look at it the dirtier and more wrinkled it becomes.
If you guys have pictures of that Krazy Horse "edition" i'd quite enjoy seeing what the result is.
